About us

This blog is about my family…so you should meet them. Eric and I have been friends since we were five years old and got married in July of 2007. We have four kids…Katheryn (13), Meg (11), Jordan (10), and Zack (19). It took us thirty years to get to where we are today….but everyday was worth it because it brought us closer to where we are now. We have both been married two times before, and even though at times we thought we were happy with the others we know now that we belong together. We have both been through emotional hell, but ended up back where we started….together. You see, Eric and I dated on and off throughout our lives and always ended up together in some way. We started kindergarten Sunday school together, went to school together, we were in the band together in high school and in the youth group together at church. In college Eric took me to the first party where I ended up getting sick from having too much fun. All in all when I look back over my life, I have always counted him as my oldest and one of my best friends. It is so amazing to be married and in love with someone who knows me so well. We are blessed.

With the end of the school year last year, Zack graduated from high school, and left home. This school year marks other new beginning. Katheryn will be entering high school in the fall. Meagan will become a middle schooler. Jordan will for the first time in his life be at a school without his sisters. Our adventures are just beginning.
